you have to do a normal scan first, or copy your services.xml (hopefully same format) and goto extras menu ,can't remember wording but somert to do wi scanning and autocreate fast nit scanning, this will add an entry to cables.xml and hopefully change the scan menu, if not select nit scanning and the nit entry, scanning from then on is 2mins. mine did work and my 2 mates used it ok in a different area.

i get no option even for a slow full scan, in the cable option just has None no 6952 at all ??

thanks but i wanted to try the fast scan feature tho ?? evocam doesnt seem to update and not picking up sky box office and some porn channels !!

Same here, After auto create in the extras menu then save it says none in the cable option.

I've tried every tyupe of scanning and still cant pickup skybox offive which is normally on pp live and ppv live2

neither show up on scan...FYI

jus checked there and getting sky boxoffice, listed as PPV Events, wwe summer slam is on it jus now....

and im getting ten porn channels, that actually have a picture instead of the virgin enter pin screen, but need to wait till they actually start to see if they are working, mite jus be previews!

ok...the porn channels with a picture are press red screens with a saucy pic of a bird....but apparently there should be another channel where you get the actual feed...bit like the movie channels...i only seem to get three working porn chans...television x, playboy and something eklse....can anyone who has a WORKING full line up tell me what i should be getting ??

Just convert dbox services for your area,these will have all channels a db struggles to find.

I know easy just to use dboc to scan and transfer files, what for the poeple who have replaced it with a Dreambox , dont really care for the porn channels but for box office it would be nice as when you rescan will just vanish and too much hassle getting a dbox just to do a scan with

i just went to dbox forum and downloaded file for my area....i am going to convert it and load it to the box then i am going to merge it with my currant services on dreambox and keep it safe

Another thing...i cant seem to access the web page for the box...but i can access via ftp...also testing network says all ip's are reachable...do i need to do something ??

with 0.9b diddnt you have to change a setting somewhere think? it had daemon in the name but cant remember 100%

you need to enable the webserver....

Blue Button (Utils Menu) >> Extras Menu (3) >> Green Button (or Daemon Control) >> Red Button, to enable web server nhttpd then reboot the box

Yep thats the baby...thanks again...dont know why i didnt see that....i got the webpage working, like you said, just needed to enable it in image.....i gotta say this image streaming to pc is very good....theresloads of other shit i need to learn about that interface....is it a standard interface and is there a guide for it ??

WICKED...i got the porn, albeit shit but its there...im still not getting hustler uk though.....now when i went to create a fast scan NIT i lost all the scan info..no 6952 or 6887...if i install a new cable file and perform a normal scan will the scan delete the newly found porn channels if i select 'leave currant bouqs' ??
