Can someone test the video setting; when i flip it to 4.3 (ps) the sceen go blank????

keep pushing the ok button m8 it will scroll thru & picture will come back on with the setting you want i use auto dettect

4.3 (LB) =letter Box
4.3 (PS) = Don't know?, but it should fill the screen with no black boarders

i thot that when i first did it but the setting changes back to wotever you had it set at, wont actually stay on 4.3(PS)...gonna take the box downstair and see it it stays when its used with the lcd

jus looked about there and ps i think is 'pan and scan'

I think there is an option somewhere called switch scart automaticaly which you can set to off or on...this may remedy your problem.

panscan will work fine if your box will support the old tuner driver, try changing it. its a compatability problem between neutrino controld and the new driver.

cryogenic, this image is super stable been running for over a week most stable image that i have come across, only thing is i got seem to get the other emu's to work, only Gbox works, yes i tried the settings, i got the slow scanning working now, but fast scan finds 30 transponders then just stays there doesnt go through them

loaded this image on thursday working ok so far but not had a chance to play with it as my mother inlaw has a loan of my box at the moment but shes not complained yet so it must be ok. thanks again for another great image like the info bar but thats about all i can comment on,

you need to enable the webserver....

Blue Button (Utils Menu) >> Extras Menu (3) >> Green Button (or Daemon Control) >> Red Button, to enable web server nhttpd then reboot the box

Just a shot in the dark, but Cryo's 0.9b image had the web interface disabled as default and needed to be enabled from blue button->spmething->daemon control.

yes spotted have enabled it but it asks for a Username & password???

login Box message - The server 192.168.1.24 at yhhtpd requires a username and password.

have tried - root/dreambox & root/dbox2 no luck!

the straight thing is a can login (ftp) via Explorer?

strange why its asking you for authentication when its set to false already in the .conf file, unless you changed it?? but password should be user: root, pass: dbox2...do u have cap lock off?

still isnt working try this: ftp to /var/tuxbox/config then open nhttp.conf and check the username and password

or if that still doesnt work ....right click and edit 'nhttpd.conf' then find line that says 'mod_auth.authenticate='...if it has no value or true...change it to false after the = sign and ftp it back to the box, then reboot...if its already set at false i dunno

yes have tried the above already... still no luck

only thing i can think of id the file corrupt, can you post a copy!

weird...wouldnt work now all of a sudden its working again and i dont know wot i done, if anything

gonna change file again and see wot gets it working again...even if i up my .conf i doubt it will work straight off, used file from a backup i made and even that wouldnt work!

heres my file that is working now! finally... doesnt seem to like you changing the username/password but even when i changed it back took a while to get working....

up the file then reboot the box under menu...

i tried this 4 times and only worked once...so its bit hit and miss for some reason

I'm in the same boat - used this image before & it was fully working - just flashed back the saved image & looked into nhttpd.conf - original settings were root, dbox2

Now:
#AllowIp=172.16.1.1
AuthPassword=dreambox
AuthUser=root
Authenticate=false
but won't log in over web

Is there some other nhttp.conf file in another dir?

I downloaded yours & copied it over - now it works funny thing my original NHTTPD.conf did not look like yours. Here's the contents:

Edit: I just realsied that mine is not Cryo's image but Neutrino 0.9 but still exact same probs as reported above

Ok didn't use anyone but my own, the fault is the file, once edited it loose it format even thou i used Metapad/FlashXP Editior??? so i used tuxcom to change it back to Linux format... now working fine.
