u cant use it in docsis 2 just now mate they r onli trialling it in a pre docsis 3 area we will just have to wait

Hi just got a subbed NTL home 255/256 modem. It is 2Meg. How can I increase it up to 20Meg? I don't understand these config files ... I am in ex C&W.

Does the modem need to be hacked?

Where do I enter these config file details in order it to be 20meg?

I know I may sound silly wwith these questions but i really don't know.

the modem needs to be "hacked" and its not recommend to alter anything on a sub modem!
