Cardsharing on technomate 6900 6800 super with SSSP and 8281

the patch i use is 12/9/07 - should be able to find it easy enough if its not the one you are using already!!

Free servers tend to go off pretty quick if they work at all. Paid ones are available and they tend to be more stable if you find a good one!!

can anyone see hat is the problem here?
i cant open channels
 
in the server details, CAID : 0500
but when i goto the channel
menu- cas menu - blue button on remote
i cant find CAID : 0500

i have auto and other entries
 
well,very sad indeed,but looks.like Technomates-super,or not,just can't share?
 
No - TM's can share adequately- the non ethernet models may not be perfect for sharing but they DO work!!!
 
I have a polsat (n3) by sharing and everything is working well on my old Ferguson AF2818 unfortunally on TM6900 Super it doesn't work at all. I get connected to server but nothing happend then (not open a channels), any advice?

Gooner71 i"ve tried share cyfra+,viasat from 100% reliable server,using Technomate 6800(non super),using rs232 null modem cabel,programs Wsp 0.9.6,sbcl,mpcs-no rezults.Yes i have connection etc...But no picture(You see mine log few posts above).Could You be more specific how did You get it working on non ethernet model?It's really very intresting.
 
ive sent TM logs from your 6800 model, a 1500, a 5200super and a 6900super, all using SSSP with the latest patches. all are connecting fine within the software and information being sent between receiver and PC, but not clearing channels, this is being tested all on a local network where i know everything is fine.

the 6900super works via ethernet with no problems at all on a local network and via the net with everything ive tried except sly, again logs have been sent regarding this and its being looked into

My initial input to the thread was to try a couple of things I had found useful with my tm1000ci. I could only get it going using the older firmware from 12/09/07. From what I have read perhaps the newer firmware will not clear channels no matter what you try and I see Digi has contacted TM directly about this!!

With a decent server I have no problems connecting my TM via RS232 and clearing channels ok - so there is hope!!
 
Well...

I tested the 6900 hd super ssp function.

I set my router to DHCP and address allocated immediately.
Went to the channels I wanted to test ( All Pink & MCT) and connected to a free NewcamD server.... it definetly worked ok. No picture problems whatsoever...

mmmm very promising. ;)
 
which free servers did you test with?
where did you find them?

also can you pls guide how to change/add a caid to the patch on a TM receiver/

I just used google...

Why would you want to change/add a caid on a TM receiver?
With the protocol that the SSSP uses, you need only enter the ID, password,host , port.
 
Can the TM6900 Super act as a host and stream whatever channel it is currently clearing to other remote TM6900 Super's or Dreamboxes over the Internet?
 
Hi I am new to card sharing but seeing as though I bought a technomate 6900 super I am trying to find out how to work it. I have googled the web for free card share and have found a site but this is where I am confused.
In the site I went to it gives the following information as,
name,protocol,host,des-key,user,password,port,caid

In my technomate when I press8281 my screen shows
name,system, Id,password,address,port,des-key,current status

I hope someone can tell me which box on my 6900 super I would put my host and user lines. Also what about the caid line.
 
So i take it that this wont work on an 6800 hd Normal box.
 
I think that's the answer-(i think i knew it before even posting to this forum)-sell your tm,as I did
