Cable sub card in dreambox

There is no newcamd version for enigma2 available.
You could use the ci-slot and a bluezeta/joker cam.

just to add to your hard work
for anyone tryin to get this workin on a clone 500
use gemini 3.6.0. newcamd 6.10 and edit config file with ur boxkey as below

# Boxkey (for Nagra1 cards only) (L)
# 8 byte des boxkey of your nagra smartcard. This boxkey is needed for proper
# use of your card, otherwise you'll get incorrect control words
# BOXKEY = 10 20 30 40 10 20 30 40

I suggest using an ex subbed rom 10 or 11 card either will work and then your ird & bk can then be anything u want them to be but your first 2 numbers in cam id in certain areas is provider specific so leave them as they were in original image

example: my ird 10203040 my bk 1020304010203040 cam id 24242424

Is the bk ficticious or taken from a current subbed box/card?

Yeah my thoughts exactly,although the post from RD suggests making 1 up?if i've read it right?

The bk is part of the camcrypt procedure between card and box and has to be exactly the same at both sides.

What he was saying was if your editing the card in nagedit you can use any bk you like. the dreambox will work with what ever bk number is on the card.

Hi Donnie, its all ficticious ur ird can be anything as it has not to be paired like a subbed box, and as long as ur bk on card and the bk no. u edit in the config file are the same the box will read it ok, I have also deleted everything from the var/keys and var/scce folders so to remove card will make it a fta box :thumbsup:
