AzerSpace 1 at 46.0°E (Europe Beam/Central Asia Beam)

I have now paired my TM5402HD with the AZBox Premium HD+ as Zorch mentions above the Blind Scan is limited on the TM5402HD

Blind Scan on the AZBox is from 800 to 45,000,
Blind Scan on the TM5402HD is 2500 to 45,000 with an annoying fault when a low symbol rate is found 45,000 is added to the data base that no one is prepared to rectify shame on you TM.

4 transponders found including the new one that Zorch found just a test card now.
100cm dish:-
11053 H 2000 5/6
AZBox HD P+ Strength = 72%
-------------Quality = 74%

TM5402HD Strength = 97% } Note that the TM readings are wildly inaccurate due to the scale being over calibrated to give the illusion of a higher signal.

The feed keeps changing...

A short time ago it was carrying out tests for Bütöv AZ TV

Feed ID: Program 1 [VPID 0512/APID 0768/PPID 0512] FTA

...then the feed changed back to the original ID & PID's again and was showing a 16:9 standard test card in HD (720p)

Feed ID: CHALLENGER-UDP [VPID 0490/APID 0491/PPID 0490] FTA

...then it changed ID & PID's again and was testing Bütöv AZ TV in 16:9

Feed ID: Digital 1 [VPID 0258/APID 0259/PPID 0257] FTA

...then it changed ID again but kept the last PID's and was just a black screen

Feed ID: CHALLENGER-TST [VPID 0258/APID 0259/PPID 0257] FTA

...and now it's back to testing Bütöv AZ TV again in 16:9

The feed is still active... but I give up...!!

UPDATE

A (new) transponder seems to be testing/about to start on the Central Asia Beam... I noticed the (new) transponder after a Blind Scan of the satellite with my TM 5400 (SD) receiver... the signal locked on the TM 5400 (SD) but it's very erratic... however I was able to download the associated channels... the channels that downloaded are exact duplicates (including PIDs) of the ones that are currently on the 11.013 Horizontal polarity (Europe Beam).

Unfortunately my TM 5402 HD cannot locate/lock the (new) transponder during a Blind Scan and I'm also unable to get a lock on this transponder after adding the transponder manually... the signal is just as erratic... however the Signal Quality bar is showing that I'm getting a sufficient level of signal (albeit erratic) to achieve a lock on the (new) transponder... depending on when/if the signal normalizes/levels out...

I wouldn't be surprised to see the full Ukrkosmos Package migrating from Astra 1G at 31.5°E to AzerSpace 1 at 46.0°E

The Ukrkosmos package is testing again... this time on the Central Asia Beam... the Symbol Rate has changed but it's the same channels... and the Signal Quality reading is quite good for this beam...

Getting a reasonably high SQ of 74% here early afternoon on the 11.103 transponder. Moderate cloud cover here in West Lancs.

I haven't managed to get a signal lock on this new transponder as yet... there's constant drizzle/rain and very heavy cloud cover here today... ergo a wet dish face... so definitely not the best of weather conditions... however my current readings on this transponder are...

*NO SIGNAL LOCK*

Perhaps someone on the forum with a 1.8m dish could have a try at locking this one...

Nothing for me too, here in West Lancs. I suppose it might be on the Central Asian beam.

Having said that though, this frequency used to be a feed on the European beam but with a different symbol rate.

Incidentally, has anyone heard from Zorch recently? Surely, he would lock this transponder.
