AU Fun and Phase 1b not updating.

I have got a Phase 1b box that has had talk back cut. I got the BK and IRD using the led simm method only problem is one of the lights is not working on the led simm for some reason. The led simm is a replacement for one that was exactly the same with the same led not working so there must be something wrong with the contacts. Anyway, I have what I presume are 4 possible BK's if you know what I mean? The led not on being either on or off and changing the letter/digit accordingly. I have written a AU Fun using all 4 possible combinations of BK using Nagredit putting my IRD in backwards but it will not update. I have left the cards in for between 10 and 15 minutes. Any ideas?

I have got the BK by setting the switch to 1 on the simm and reading left to right and again for the second part.
