annoyed and need help swap magic

right its for the new ps2 with tool c being different, i cant get the bugger in, iam at my wits end......

Have you considered getting a flip top cover for it? They dont cost much and might save you a bit of hassle. I've seen them for under a tenner on this site

is this what u have ? (see attach)
do u have 3 or 4 pieces ?
sometimes tool C dont fit thats why its better buying the Pro version as u get a 4th piece (D) in case C dont fit
then D fits over the lense inside the console,have a read of this u may find it helpful

i know how you feel r6driver i bought the slim tool and it never worked for me either

lol bloody ps2 slim - i also bought the usb extreme (usb advance) but the guy never sent me the discs lol.... my lucks out with this console, still i guess i have a nice 300GB USB drive

well....i have it working god its a fiddly thing,

word of advice to anyone if you are gonna do this with the new models of ps2 put in parts a&b and the put in the disc and the carefully (with needle nose pliers) fiddle with part c, the disc will spin it just takes a wee while

funny thing is I found tool C to be the easiest to fit

yes thank god it drove me nuts

na tool 'c' was hard as sony have changed the slim ones to stop them using normal swap magic and i needed a wee slim one now
