Ambit 200 help plz

Hi all just done 200 using latest 2008 AMBIT 200 all went ok but wont go online it just seems to scan i follwed tut to the letter also if i want change mac do i need to configure ip or can i just do it using max 232 or can i change mac on configuration page any help would be great thanks all also im pure n*l
