ambit 100 hyperterminal

hi iv got an ambit 100 gone through tut got to the stage
where i have to use hyperterminal to boot modem but it wont stop boot when i press any key after 2secs? so i cant acsess the menu? my rs232 interface is conected fine to my com1 port? any sugestions? plus i tryed terra but that just loads crap on the screen? this is what terminal loads

it sounds like it as been updated put this in your browser and if you see nthel logo its been updated

yes it can you can reprogram it with a non update dump but sorry its well over my head

To return your modem to its pre updated state you need to lift the 48 pin tsop (same method as gettin box keys from stb's) an flash the pre updated firmware on it then resolder it back to the board
