Chelsea to ban fans filmed pushing black passenger off Paris Metro train before chanting 'we're racist'

Chelsea has announced it will ban fans filmed pushing a black metro passenger off of a train in Paris yesterday.
The sickening moment showed the fans repeatedly stopping the man boarding the train before breaking out into a racist song.
The shocking footage, published by the Guardian, was recorded in the city last night as the Blues drew 1-1 in their Champions League tie against Paris Saint-Germain

In it, the passenger can be seen pushed off the train as he looks to board the carriage.

Fans then break out into a chant of "We're racist, we're racist, and that's the way we like it".
Chelsea condemned the actions of those involved through a statement published hours after the incident took place, saying it will issue bans to any of its fans found to have been a part of this.

A club spokesperson said: “Such behaviour is abhorrent and has no place in football or society.
"We will support any criminal action against those involved, and should evidence point to involvement of Chelsea season-ticket holders or members the club will take the strongest possible action against them, including banning orders.”
Chelsea are also likely to face a UEFA investigation into the conduct of its fans.
Football, sadly, is the focus of attention again for all the wrong reasons despite continued attempts to eradicate racism from the sport.
Paul Nolan, who filmed the clip, told The Guardian: "He was obviously completely shocked when they pushed him off. I don’t think he realised who they were.
"He then tried to get on again and got pushed off a second time. There definitely was a culture shock. I heard a couple of French guys saying: "I can’t believe this. It’s insane"."
Former England player Stan Collymore tweeted: "Chelsea fans. Save your spite for those on the train, I'm sure you'll want to see them banned from holding season tickets at your club."

Well one of the morons was tweeting complete bollocks most of last night until he made his tweets private. Him and his mates would be a good place to start.

Some of the stuff people found out about him was quite revealing. Already had letters from the club about his conduct and him and his mates seem to glory at an old chap who sits in front of them at the ground having a bit of a moan about them jumping all over him at the matches.
Chavvy scum by the sounds of it, but on the plus side there will hopefully be a few extra season tickets available at the end of the season.

A small minority potentially very harmful to their own club. Fookin morons.

Footage I saw had them bang to rights, full face shots of them on the tube, hopefully they are found and dealt with. Lifetime bans for a start and as hefty a fine can be issued, let's see if they care then.

Chelsea announce huge shirt sponsorship deal with Yokohama Rubber

Chelsea have announced their "largest ever commercial deal" with Yokohama Rubber, reportedly worth £40m-a-year.

Yokohama Rubber, one of the world's leading tyre manufacturers, has signed a five-year deal beginning from the 2015-16 season and their logo will appear on all the Blues' shirts from the first team to their youth teams.
The deal eclipses the previous £18m-a-year deal with Samsung and could place Chelsea second only to Manchester United's £53m-a-year deal with Chevrolet.
The agreement was wrapped-up today after talks in London between Yokohama chairman Tadanobu Nagumo and Chelsea chairman Bruce Buck, before photoshoots with manager José Mourinho and club captain John Terry.
Blues chief Buck said: "Chelsea and Yokohama are a perfect fit. Both are global organisations with a focus on performance and innovation, as well as having huge ambition and an unwavering culture of success.
“We believe that Yokohama will play a key role in helping us drive our global expansion in international markets, such as the United States, where they have operated with distinction for many years.
"Also, of course, Chelsea having such an esteemed and historic Japanese company as our partner enables us to accelerate our development in their home market too.
''We are also looking forward to working with Yokohama on our community projects around the world through the Chelsea Foundation, when together we can use the power of sport as a force for good."
Yokahama boss Nagumo said: “This shirt partnership with Chelsea will give Yokohama an opportunity to showcase our company to a huge worldwide audience thanks to Chelsea’s ever-growing popularity."

Just got to say well done PSG, play for that long with ten men and come back from being behind twice deserves credit.

Outclassed home and away. Didn't deserve to go through at all and probably should've been beaten in the first leg as well.
The players looked casual and you have to think Jose got something seriously wrong preparing them mentally for this. Playing far too defensively again...when Ibrahimovic was sent off they should have gone at them but they sat back instead WTF???
Costa needs to pack in trying to wind up the opposition and concentrate on scoring goals.
