Has anyone else noticed this...?

Hi all,

I was looking through all the Viaccess channels (this morning) on Astra 1H/1KR/1L/1M at 19.2°E ...and I noticed that the channel (below) is opening with the patch on my TM 5402 HD... I can't recall this ever opening before... I may be wrong... but it is definitely opening with the patch because when I switched the patch off... it disappeared... and vice-versa...

Astra 1M at 19.2°E

11.817 V [27500] 3/4 DVB-S [QPSK] 38.0 Mbps [Europe Wide Beam]

Paris Premiere [VPID 0164/VPID 0097/PPID 0164]

Has anyone else noticed this...?

yes clearing on the 6902 too but freezing every 5 seconds don't think this was clearing on earlier patches

The Original Technomate Software v1.17 (TM 5402 HD) has now been replaced with v1.20 on the Official Technomate website...

Yes its opening on my TM6900HD Super with patch 746P too and glitching/pausing away too - but not reverting to older patch (e.g. 737P) until properly tested out new patch!
Suppose the question is "why has a channel which was previously NOT working with patches suddenly started working"?
It must surely be at the provider's end, maybe a selling ploy, but then you'd think it would be totally FTA then?

I noticed that Paris Premiere came on again this morning at 8.30am... and looking at the times on the posts from yesterday... it looks like it goes off at around 1.00pm

Does that sound about right...?

Obviously not... it's still open now... I am currently watching 'Shark' (James Woods) great that there's also an English sub-carrier on this channel...

Ah, I appear to have been edited above for revealing the existence of another forum. My post contained an obfuscated link to get there, Sorry Rat, if I broke the rules, and to everyone else you'll have to go round the long way via G**gle.

Basically, the suggestion in the place that dosn't exist is that on French terrestrial TV, Paris Premiere is FTA something like 1.PM to 2.00 PM and from 7.00 PM to 8.40 PM.

TNTSAT official cards are authorized to open this channel while it is FTA on terrestrial transmission, but only for the last month or so.
