just been on the phone with virgin hell abt my cable bill as again they had got it wrong.

Anyway i was told that from next month they are going to be charging £1.50 to people who have their bills sent out to them each month. As they want to be more earth friendly and save paper. At that point i told her about all the junk mail i get from them about mobile phones lol
anyway the young woman told me said if you pass on ur offical email address to them then you won't be charged. You will just get an email with a bill summary on it.

Thought i would let people know about this and you can get on the phone, pass on ur email and get out of this virgin rip off.

not £1.50 its £1.25

but still a fookin liberty

I got a letter also. real cheek. Its okay for them to send unsolicited mails but find some way to make more money out of you.

Yep I got this through the post yesterday as well.

It's having the intended effect on me, I'm not going to pay for a paper bill so I'm signing up for online billing.

I agree about all the other cr*p they send through the post. Maybe they should stop advertising Virgin mobile, that might help the environment!!

Thought they did this ages ago, i signed up about 6mths ago for E-billing and saved a fiver a month

So what happens if uve got a dodgy modem lol!!! and just tell them u have internet with a different provider?? Or if you genuienly have a different isp???

there only trying to get back the money you are not paying for cable tv

Been getting my bills via email for about 6months now, to be honest it is alot better plus you save money at the same time.

1.25 is a bit of a liberty mind.

A mate of mine said that she was charged £9.99 for requesting an itemised phone bill!

Soon the bills will cost more than the services ;\

edc

How many bastards make there buck
in an English country garden?
I will tell you now
of some that i know
and those that i miss
you'll truly pardon
Politicians and industrialists! Bankers, bent scientists, chief constables, generals, all the gentry and their brats, will dance on the wall when the bastards fall, in an English country garden!

I've had online billing for ages now, works just fine for me. Paper just annoys me unless it's essential, which lets face it, a bill isn't.

Feckers i just checked my e-mails and ive had another off them about new prices and the only one going up is the XL package, ok only by £1 but non of the cheaper ones are going up its has though they want me to drop back down to the lowest package and a hacked box (even tho the dodgy one is in sons room lol)

basic 2mb is going up too - by £2. but we're getting the '10 mb upgrade for free' errrr - no. in reality, i'm paying £2 more no matter how u put a pin on it

Havent had a letter yet, So i guess i expect one in the post, will sign up to the E-billing system.

between the Job losses at Virgin (call centre here in notts closing), these Extra Charges, increases in their security (can only be a good thing) Virgin are really starting to take notice of their bottom line.

I'm suprised this is new news they have been charging me this since i took their phone service in late 2007. I've obviously been overcharged for a while now, perhaps i should try and get a refund :).
