Pulse Skin Final Release - Here you go guys!

Pulse Skin By MrDude..........

Pulse Skin comes in four versions:

Pulse - For normal enigma based images - and Gemini360 images
PulseDark - For normal enigma based images - and Gemini360 images but uses the same colours as PulsePli
PulsePli - For use in PLI-Helenite images
PulseNabilo - For Use in NAbilsat v0.8/Gemini360 or normal enigma based images.

Installation:

Copy Files to:

/usr/share/tuxbox/enigma/

Chmod all files to 644


This skin fully supports piicons - use the included Adobe photoshop template to make your piicons, that way they will match the skin.

Skin Tested on Dreambox 500/600 & probably will work on any other boxes using enigma based images.

Hello, Just a quick question guys, I tried uploading the new files but it says failed transfered. I'm useing DigitalWorldz 1.6.5 Image.

I could not find the path you specified, the only path I could find is this.

/share/tuxbox/enigma/templates/

any help would be appreciated.

Guys , can anyone help me ,
i'm trying to upload the files to the dreambox using Flashfxp , but it's failing,(it won't let me transfer things to the dm500c, but i can connect to it fine) , whats the best software to use for this ????
and what does 'Chmod all files to 644' mean , and how do i do this ???

chmod is changing the permissions of a file to grant some users access to 3 functions (read, write and execute). different numbers have different effects on what certain users can do. chmod 644 is required so that the dreambox can read these skin files

hope this explains it : multi :

PS to chmod, usually right click on the file, or multi select files or folders and it will usually be a setting called PERMISSIONS or CHMOD, depending on your FTP program.

using DW 1.65 i did not need to chmod files as i just ftp files over to var/tuxbox/config/enigma/ put pictures in then skins working well' thanks again mrdude.

yes 644 is the default for newly uploaded files and folders should be 755 by default

finnaly got round to trying this but hit problem i manged to ftp the pictures but the skins i get this failed transfered.?

you are tryin to add them to the write protected part of the image. try var/tuxbox/config/enigma/skins instead

have you tried /usr/share/tuxbox/enigma/ instead of var/tuxbox/config/enigma?
