About:

The Skin is Based on Open Pli but it should work well with most other images. I can confirm it also works well with Open ATV.

Feel free to try it on other images (please back up your image first before installation). Do post here if it works well with other images.

The Skin also comes with 2 .sh scripts for the Top Picks.

Scripts link:

Dropbox - scripts.rar

Download the .rar file and extract the 2 files.

ChabsScrape.sh scrapes images from the net and skyQ Picks.sh picks up the images to display.

Ftp the 2 .sh files to:

ATV: /usr/script/

Vix: /usr/scripts/

You might need to chmod 777 to both scripts

You can use Filzilla or Telnet using Putty or DCC

Telnet:

ATV: chmod 777 /usr/script/ChabsScrape.sh
chmod777 /usr/script/skyQPicks.sh

Vix: chmod 777 /usr/scripts/ChabsScrape.sh
chmod777 /usr/scripts/skyQPicks.sh

In your Cron Manager or Cron Time (Open ATV Menu - Timers - Cron Timers) You need to set ChabsScrape.sh once a day and skyQ Picks.sh every 1hr or whatever you wish to have the images updated.

Enjoy & Please don't forget feed backs.

Hi
I was wondering why does this skin look better in 720p rather than 1080p?
In 720p 60Hz the text looks sharp and good but 1080p video looks less detailed
In 1080p 50/60hz the text looks blurred
Ive tried this skin in both Vix and Open ATV and get similar results?
In fact i have seen this with other skins that say they are Full HD but look better in 720p?
Is this a settings issue or skin problem?
Ive had other skins like Metrix look great in 1080p so not sure its a settings thing?

The skin is 720p. I am yet to convert all the skins to FHD

Can anyone upload the renamed cable picons ?

Also are the top picks missing half of the image to the right and bottom display, or should these come into focus when they scroll?

Thanks
