Total rubbish, whether they sold out because of a million transactions or because of one, they sold out in a shorter time than usual. That gets noticed.

I think the point is that they will notice before it sells out if people are buying large quantities.

Seriously, before the wonders of word of mouth on the internet, I would tend to agree with you. But with the internet you can sell out in hours.

I don't think so mate. Dell site says the Iomega product code is 33348. Can't find any with that code on the UK or US Dell sites. Possibly a discontinued item?

think am a bit gutted with this like..... my oreder has been cancelled "Credit Card payment wasn’t authorized by your bank". My card is fine must ahve put the wrong digit in somewhere..... and now the link doesnt work to! GUTTED!!!

I was after one but a western digital make. My previous hard drives, ive had Seagate, Maxtor, Hitachi and Western Digital and the only reliable ones have been Hitachi and Western Digital. This is from my experience only.
But as this was dead cheap, I went for it. I always thought Iomega were good just for their 3.5" floppy disks! Now they were good :banana:
Check out eBuyer, when I went searching I found them to be the cheapest. Dabs had a cheaper one but they had a high delivery charge. Sod that.
I found this one http://www.smalldrives.com/product_info.php?products_id=51 but don't know if that is a good deal or not, is this drive different to any other external hard drive and don't know anything about the site either
