then FTP the Picons folder to

/usr/share/enigma2/picon

Yep, I released it earlier online but with one thing and another didn't get round to posting on here yet today (I have a few releases to post for various makes/models), just home now anyway and will get them posted on the forum here in the downloads section this evening.

this worked for me on a gigablue quad plus running openvix 5.0.0.32 on mgcam, everything is back to normal

Quick question
It's a vix4e2 image is it using the vix interface or the atv?

It doesn't actually matter it's just personal preference of being a fix user for so long I know my way around the menus better than atv lol.

ViX4E2PROJECT 4.0 and 4.1 releases are based from OpenATV sources but there are some quite significant differences in the menu layouts between the two, the Blue Button still takes you to the Quick Menu like ATV though but there are even some differences in there to. If you need any help though just shout and I'll try to point you in the right direction.

I managed to load openatv 6.1 on to my dm800se with help from @dexyweescot but I'm unable to do a scan because the tuner configuration page says "tuner empty". Any ideas?

Not too sure and im limited as I dont have that STB any more. Maybe someone else can shed some light.

Just to recap for anyone trawling thru this thread.

Install a fresh OpenATV 6.1 image from their site

ATV 6.1
Once all loaded

1. Install ABM 2.9 thru the plugin feeds.

2. Install CAMS feed from

here

3. Reboot

4. Go back into plugin feeds and install softcam Mgcamd 1.38.

5. Reboot

6. Set your tuner back up for your netid and your ABM settings. Scan channels

7. Enter your line into /usr/keys/newcamd.list

8. If you need a working mg.cfg file, get it

here. Put it into /usr/keys folder.

9. Press blue>softcam>softcam panel and start the cam

10. Setup your audio settings in menu>setup>audio>auto language settings.
