Pacific on the remote press menu goto vti prees ok then go down to Setup-system press ok goto 12 in list this should be at 00 and 13 in the list should be set to no then press green button to save settings and your done ,regards dubliner
why risk it ?
firstly i bet you wont see any difference anyway, secondary your risking bricking your box, which would you choose
there should be setting in software update somewhere to turn off update notification although i never used vti image before

Just received a Solo2 clone from L&W ( Blackhole 2.1) with a v2 sticker on the back, and an xcard chip on the motherboard. Please, I need to confirm whether it a Lonrisun version. Sorry, I forgot that there is also the vu-hd web address on the top.
Another thing, I tried to upgrade it with VTi 7 and BH 2.3 from (vu-hd) and but after the prompt for power button press and after pressing the soft touch button nothing happens and it boots up as usual. I need your suggestion as what I should do to upgrade it to newer images.

Jayus man you only got your box today and you nearly bricked your box already ,you need your seller to confirm what sort of box you have as there,s so many type,s going around these day nobody know,s ,and if she confirm's it,s a Lonrisun version then try these link,s only after she tell's you what type you have if it,s lonrisum box only

I have been browsing through the "Downloads: VU+ Clone Images" section, but I can not see any descriptions which would mention Lonrisun.
There are many images which are described as clone safe, but how should one know if it is for Sunray or Lonrisun?
Sorry if I am asking stupid things, but I am changing from DM800SE clone and differences between Solo 2 clones are not that evident for me.
This is the point where I get confused as there are separate download sections for Solo 2 and Solo 2 SE.
If Solo 2 image could be used on the SE, what is the reason for the different sections?

Just found out that my solo2's touch button isn't working. Btw, my box has been sent with a 2.1.1 image on it. Please someone tell me but what could be the problem. Thanks

Tried to upgrade security chip of my lornisun solo2 to v4 but without success,Win7,64bit.changed cable,usb to com adapter,other pc also win7,64bit and nothing.few months ago i did v3 upgrade with same cable,usb adapter and pc without problem.when i run update.exe nothing heppens, any idea?
Try turning your firewall off mate and run it as administrator.
If that doesn't work you could try running it in compatibility mode as 32 bit

Tried with firewall off, also with my friends 32bit laptop,swopped connections,used new cable that i soldered myself and still nothing.
is it possible that it is influence of chattr command that i did few months ago when i upgraded to v3. i think that pc does not see receiver
via com cable,how can i check it?
Sounds like the chip on the serial board is dead. I had the same and managed to get mine working by replacing the chips.
