Its going to be interesting how many sly HD subs get cancelled when all the channels go - will give the fekkers a real indication of just how many people are running cards in 3rd party readers.

Nah mate that's not true, he was on a zero hour contract so they got another chap in and now its Tuesday and Thursdays half day

I just bit the bullet and ordered Sky TV,I am disabled as you may know and stay in an awful lot watching the box. ordered just the family pack..searched on-line and got/found a voucher for half price for 12 months @ £16.PM originally priced at £32 obviously
got a free sky+HD box the new type with built in wifi paid £25 installation but get that back in the form of a £25 prepaid MasterCard.
I can afford £16 PM for all the channels as i don't think it will be long before we lose a lot more HD channels plus others....
only got it for 12 months so by then maybe C.S will be back to normal.??who knows.
will be keeping my boxes just in case...and will use them till the end.

Totally agree mate.This way i will still get the channels i like watching like all the discovery's and history and so on.
for me its worth £16 a month you seem to get a hell of a lot with the family pack...
will still use my VU+solo2 till the channels die.

there are other satellites apart from astra 28.2e which 90% the same programming with earlier shown films,footy ect. its only the uktv channels really that are exclusive. anyone with a fixed zone1/2 who is flapping get yourself a cheap motorised system of triax td78/orbital 80cm,darkmotor/tm2600 and ibu and you will be amazed at whats out there and wondering what all the fuss is about. regards mdt
