hi mate..i emailed tony at yaoxin....heres the email i got from him this morning ...i asked hime about the fixes regarding tuner problems, freezing, glitches etc...he says these have been fixed...obviuosly not according to your box.....

the dm800hd is new model , we start to produce in the beginning of the year.
problem first fan noise , tunner problem, HD channel problem, software problem and so on
till now we already solve all this problem, and improve the quality.

i dont think ill go for a clone....might get the original.....willing to shell out about £350 for it, but will wait until my area has gone nagra3, im still on cable and was looking into the sattelite scene..hopefully in abouy 2-3 months when im N3....the prices of thease dm800hd would have dropped a little.....

dont get your box from dreambox clones hes a night mare the box`s are ship and he ask you to pay with paypal as a gift (DO NOT USE GIFT WHEN BUYING GOODS AS PAYPAL WILL NOT GIVE YOUR MONNEY BACK) i got my monney back i was lucky as for some reson paypal took it out as DD pay ment
Hey, i still get glitching on those hd channels...snr fluctuates between 0-70% tried everything apart from the soldering fix, which im not sure i want to risk

have you tried an in line amplifier which a lo of guys have mentioned that fixed the glitching on HD Channels

I got one of these from a chinese and its sim2.01 and bootloader 75 and all that.
I want to flash to Nabilo Black Hole v0.12 but I asked him would there be any problems, got this answer and I'm not even sure if he understood my question:
"you can't update soteware from because it support BOOT73.4.2 only. our dm800 is boot#7.5 if you flash to kill your dm800 .i will send a new software to you ,you fash to your dm800."
It's pretty confusing stuff. DM800 works perfectly, bar the glitches with the known channels, which I'll fix with the inline thing. But in the meanwhile has anybody got one of these latest sim 2.01 clones and successfully flashed to Black Hole v.012? Have many people had problems?
Do i need a patched version or something? Also if something goes wrong and I have to reload the secondstage bootloader, where can I find it? Cheers if anybody can help!

did you try using it from both ends? i had to swap mine around with the in and out bits and it eventually worked never had a problem since
dreambox-clones.co.cc are sending the boxes with the fix already applied... i can confirm this... as i got another box on xmas eve and it already had the fix applied... and using SIM 2.01
The box I bought recently from BCT had this fix applied too so dremboxclones is not doing this himself.
The box itself works great early in the morning when it is cold. when it heats up there are glitches on the usual transponders on sly and when the missus sticks the heat on in the house lots of sd channels begin to glitch and hd channels go to 0%
could it be the wonky bonky chinese brand of capacitor they're using in the fix is rubbish and struggles in the heat? anyone else experienced this?

Exactly same issue for me...Box recently replaced from BCT and came with rev k tuner with the capacitor fix already applied. However as soon as box warms up I lose HD AND SD channels....
I'm contemplating swapping the shitty 16v capacitor they used but not sure if that will actually solve the issue...
Is the 16v capacitor fix CONCLUSIVELY fixing tuner issues when using a decent brand capacitor?
