Bloody murdering cats

Cats are not the only creature which kill on a full stomach. The guilty cat will be disappearing soon. You could argue that I should know better, but I would say "it's only my nature".

I am sick of irresponsible "cat lovers" making excuses for their little murderers.

Okay, I now realise I should have roofed over the run. That makes me feel even worse about my daughter's grief. I just forgot about the killer next door.

Borrow my ex-racing rescue Greyhound m8. He has a special way with cats, and has chalked up 3 wins in my garden. Still, its only his nature...

P.S. neighbour now keeps her siamese pussy in a large netting run. Best place for all cats imho. Plenty of birds in my garden now.

And those are sensible adult solutions are they?? I think not, I would say those are childish as no one is in control of a cats actions but you are in charge of your own.

Surely one point to be made here is that cat owners SHOULD be more responsible for the action of their pets, maybe by at least fitting them with bells? The suggestions & statements made by some posters may not be of the most adult nature, but I don't see any personal abuse directed by them against cat OWNERS in this thread.

Some people deserve to receive abuse after comments bragging about their dog killing cats, must make him feel macho, when dogs are viscious and aggressive it is down to the owners own insecurity and their failings

I agree with that, cats are classed as free spirits but making them wear a collar will at least help to preserve some birds etc.

Actually, a bell could well have have made a difference. There was a box shelter in the run with a small guinea sized entrance. The Guinea Pig was nervous, (as they are) and usually ran into her box if startled by noise. She didn't get this chance with a silent cat.

And I'm not sure about this 'bragging' about an ex-racing hound catching cats -surely that's what they do? Maybe my neighbour wil tell others what their cat did today -would this be bragging?

I'm sure you will appreciate that do I feel like murdering this bloody cat. It upsets my daughter to see it here prowling about here looking for another victim, and I do resent having to take precautions to protect my animals on my property when the owner of the guilty cat (who also has several others) does nothing at all, not even bothering with a bell.
