Empty coffee cups on TV shows

Is it just me or are other people irritated by the scenes in shows where characters go and buy a cup of coffee. Does my nut in - the cups are clearly empty. They have these supposedly full cups tilted at about 45 degrees and nothing ever gets spilt. The characters start drinking from their cups as soon as they arrive but never burn their mouths. If they are not allowed to have hot coffee in cups because of H&S risk to actors, then either don’t include them in scenes or have cold drinks in the cups.

‘Vera’ is one of the worst I have seen for fake coffee - first two episodes of latest season have some classic examples. Just to say this doesn’t keep me awake at night but it does irritate me when it happens
