people on benefits ..

I agree with the above bit.

Now I have no idea what way benefit systems work for the unemployed or those unable to work because I have been fortunate enough to have always had a job. But it was posted earlier that benefits are stopped while an investigation takes place. If that is the case, how would people feel if they were in a situation where they were unable to work and claiming 100% legal benefits and someone reported them because they dont like them and their benefits stopped because of this until it was proven they were not in the wrong in any way.

I don't like benefit cheats.
I don't care if people report those they expect of benefit fraud but I would hope they had as many facts as possible and were as sure as they could be before doing it and not just doing it on a whim.

most sensible thing ive read in this thread

HERE HERE

dear lord im sick of reading yor posts,no matter what it is you always have a PERSONAL touch to add ie.

To be frank, yes where I work people help me do the job I do, and vice versa. Its one of the benefits from working in a team. However, I dont see the connection here

how old are you? 956? you sure do alot mate,

and just as a second notice of your pos ie..

y would you see a connectin?? as you state you all work there and get paid by a company.... it not the same atall so your quite correct in not seeing the connection pal, they work for the benefit fraud he lives next door to a benefit cheet........
did you read all the messages here? dont look like it?

people scamming benefits that should go to disabled people are criminals. i would report them if i knew 100% that they were doing it. aint no argument you can put to that.

nah mate - i agree. no need to say "i hate grasses" and "i would never grass people up"

my arse you wouldnt lol.

I think either I didnt explain my point well enough or you misread it.

When I said, do ordinary people help you do your job I wasnt talking about people you work with in a team. I meant for example does the person next door to you offer to help you do the job you get paid for or the guy up the street does he offer to help you. I will assume the answer is NO, so why should I help the benefits fraud department do their job, they don't offer to help me with mine. I have my job because I have the qualifications for that job and the benefits fraud squad should also be well qualified to do their job.

pmsl...funny thing is I was just thinking exactly the same...where the fek is the OP.

Ah yes, I see now.

You are quite right - however one small caveat, how do they track down cheats in the first place with out them being reported?

Quod erat demonstrandum

I don't know if it's the same now but it used to be that there was more money in unpaid benefits - from people who don't claim - than estimated benefit fraud.

It always was that they spent far more money trying to catch the fraudsters than trying to find those who could do with the benefits.

Also recently the assessment checks for people claiming sickness benefits has been shown to be seriously flawed - in saying people were fit for work when they were not.

Apparently about a third of the people who challenge the assessment win their appeal. I'm sure there are many who don't appeal and just accept the loss of their benefits.

Ok. I knew you would bite.

If a man killed your wife/partner in front of you and run away, would you phone the police?

If you say yes, then you are a grass yourself. If you say no you are a moron.

QED.

I dont know m8...if I did I would be working in the benefits office in the fraud squad...lol

I think they interview benefit claimants every so often but as I said before, I have no problem with people reporting fraudsters as long as they are as sure as they can be before reporting them. The OP said he wasn't sure so imho he would be wrong to report him on a guess.

my arse you wouldnt ever grass someone up for it clever clogs.

what do u mean 'clever clogs', it was a simple question .. u don't speak very clearly when u do

so you're a grasser eh? never done it in my life, never will. you will burn for ur sins pmsl

im a bit fick so i dont know what that means?

something that you say in order to emphasize that a fact proves what you have just said is true.
Im Thick too so i googled it lol and yes where the fook is the op.
