My Dbox is a lil bugger like this also so just having to manually update the keys for the mean time. Given the fact it's only really used for the footy it's not too much of a prob but hoping a fix comes along shortly.
 
Cryos Key Copy

Sorting cryogenics key copy out for Andromeda on dbox with his permission all credit to him the keys copy perfectly to gbox and gbox will survive a reboot no probs but will need changing to gbox the first time after that ok.Will look in to making gbox start automatically after the copy later.

Will post as 2 files for now.

Put flex_emumenu.conf in var/tuxbox/config and delete the existing and replace.

Put ops into bin folder and changemod 755

reboot press blue button menu and then Andromeda menu and select key copy.

You must have made the keys by being on evocamd or mgcamd first!!!

It will reboot and have written the keys to the nagra file and will survive a reboot.

Just select gbox and away you go.

Ignore any error message will tidy up at a later date not a problem.

Works Fine Here And Reboots OK

Xenafan, Could U mod andromeda, so it works with all the cams with all the AU in the image and post it...
Or is this not allowed ?

can i ask will this not work with blade when i looked in the var/tuxbox/config their was no file with emumenu.config also what is the ops?

No m8 wont work wlth Blade which version are you on?
am looking at doing a new version of blade with this and fixes next week got some time of.

There is no 'flex_emumenu.conf' in the zip m8, only 1 file called 'Gbox key copy'.

Best you check your file and re upload it.

Thanks all working now - I'll mod this to use on a dreambox & I have just modded it to work on the ss3 image - it's working perfect now.

camd and gbox were in /bin and I had edited start_enigma accordingly. The 3 rom7 files were renamed to rom07.b / rom07eep.b and rom07ram.b

I left it to create it's own nagra file, which it did. I didn't time the AU, but it was under 30 mins after reboot. This is not my imagination playing tricks; the nagra file said rom 0B for both keys! (Not the usual rom7)

Sadly, I can't get it to recreate this small miracle, despite leaving the successful setup absolutely untouched.

If someone can lay their hands on the gbox source, I'm pretty sure Cydine will be able to fix the internal rom7 routines, and to share it!!

You could try to use all patched roms and rename nagrarom10.bin to rom10.b and nagrarom11.bin to rom11.b.
There is also rom10eep.b, rom10ram.b and so on needed.
 
Xenafan, This worked a treat for GBox....
Will Gbox AutoUpdate if the keys roll ?? or will i need to copy keys every time the keys roll m8 ?

Chris- Xenafan already answered your question in #64, m8:

"You must have made the keys by being on evocamd or mgcamd first!!!"

So if you're on gbox when there's a roll, you'll get a black screen on non-FTA, so just switch back to evo or mg for the AU, then the copy routine, then the switch back to gbox.

Must test this myself and see what sort of payload it adds. Good to see Cryogenic is still active! Shame it's not on the dBox2 scene, though...
