the unofficial dream elite phoenix edition already has youtube built in! thats for an 800 though, you havnt specified which box he has!

ok i been playing around with box. all plugins are showing "package description not available" when selecting Blue Button, newnigma2 services, manage additional software, online installer, add/remove plugins, also theres no enigma2-plugins-extension-mytube in the list:'(
