Any help please
My system comprises of 1-pc running xp profesional wired to a router that connects to the net via a cable modem, i have 2-other laptops running vista which connect to the router wirelessly.
Internet on all machines works fine.
The 2-laptops can see each other & fileshare, they can also see the xp machine but not file share, the xp machine can see nothing.
How can i get all three machines to file share without upgrading the xp to vista.
I have installed the LLTDR protocol for the LAN connection.
thanks

thanks that works really good, its been driving me nuts for days

Hi all,

I there no way of making all PC's see each other with a Microsoft Windows based application, as I like to keep these default, it saves going to different places when help or advice is needed.

Yoursize.

Yes, it's just a case of running the Networking Wizard, naming the Workgroups properly, (same on each PC) and configuring your Firewall's to allow them to communicate with each other...

I've never used any software to allow me to network, I just use Win Explorer....
