I am not sure I see the point in jailbreaking firmware 2.0. I think one of the key things about the plan in the first place was to get apps installed on your ipod/iphone.

With firmware 2.0 you can do this with ease.

As for unlocking it - does the iphone differ from any other mobile in the UK? You can get them unlocked by the network for £15...

although i won't jailbreak my iphone as i don't see the point with me being on contract i will however jailbreak my ipod touch as i think its worth it for the games etc!

i know many people though who will jailbreak their iphones once the stuff the fix is out
