the newer netgears have had disconnection problems - so i've read and experienced, even with the latest firmware.
The most relaible i've found so far is the 3com wireless router - and a close second would be the linksys.
I don;t rate d-link simply because their returns policy is terrible. If you have to return it to d-link directly they can take upto a month to get back to you with a repaired device, not a replacement.
I'm using a vigor 2600VG and its got the works, voip, wireless, proper firewall, vpn, usb printer port etc etc and mine has been fully functional without a reboot for over 8 months now. They are a little pricey though.
