Hello All,

I am looking at Wireless AV Transmitter for viewing same satellite channel but in different room.

I have tried one, but the quality is affected with my mobile frequency, i.e. when calls comes in, the picture distorted or when someone walking near the transmitter, otherwise is great...

Just wonder if any of you have any experience, and any good recommendations?
Also, comes with a IR extender so remote control can be use in the 2nd room to change channel.

thanks in advance.

I'd be interested too, I bought an Emtec one from bigpockets 10 days ago but not working, waiting on their service to get back to me.

The one I got has 4 diff frequencies supposedly to eliminate problems like the one you have with your phone. Pity it ain't working or I could have told you how effective it was. Sorry mate.

EDIT, oops only scart on mine, sorry.

My mate has one which connects via composite. I'm not sure of the brand, but I should be going round tonight for a LAN party, if not I'll just ring him.

There can be some interferance, but I've never seen mobile phone interference (usually its just from when someone puts their beer too near the receiver).

By the way RCA is a connector used by composite and component, which are you hoping to use? (As a side note SCART supports composite as well as s-video and RGB.)

im after one of these too i want one which can be controlled from the other room and one that works with a v+ box. one with 2 recievers would be cool too.

Try the Email on Stock link in the green bit just under main items.

There is some question on one of the audio visual forums as to whether 5.8GHz are legal in Europe, but Amazon.com apparently ship to the UK...

Only found a 2.4Ghz solution.

Pair this:

i have just flung out a set of these because any little bit of interference is murder. the picture goes all snowy and u lose the sound, mobiles, microwave, wireless networks and even the bloddy tumble drier cause interference on these things so my advice is keep well away from them mate(s) they aint worth the money i ended up just running a feed direct to the tv.

Cheers

I got a av/remote sender from Aldi for £22 works better than I thought it would and I think they still have them.

If it doesn't work for you just take it back

Crazy
