Which signal booster?

Hi,

I've installed my subbed box upstairs and on the original cable it still works. However I went to move it and connected an extra wire now it does not pick up a signal. Does anyone know where I can get a signal booster?
Maplins said they don't do one.
Only moving it by about 6 foot

Check your wiring, my box has around 15 ft of cable between the wall box and the box itself, has never been a problem but get 1 of the connectors not connecting properly of the f-type connector on the cable not screwed in properly and all bets are off.
