which model?

cant seem to find which model I have, the only number thats on the back is SCPH-30003r, but non of the mod chip sites list this number, so i dont know which chip to buy or step by step tutorial to follow. Any help much appreciated, thanks in advance nbvcxz

It is a at least a version 4 mate, the R means it cannot be less. That is one of the best machines to chip. At a push it could be a v5. how many screws in the bottom??

Look At Your Version NumberLook at the back of your PS2.
What are the first two characters on the serial number?
u1? (10 screws on the bottom) You have a version 1.
u0? (10 screws on the bottom) You have a version 2.
u2? (10 screws on the bottom) You have a version 3.
u2? (8 screws on the bottom) You have a version 4.

here we go again only 4 screws underneath my ps 2. Thanks 4 helping chaps but realy pissed of now typical no 1 has the same ps as me. Why!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

It will have 4 screws on the 'bottom' of the machine, but are they any more screws underneath the lip? Remember there are sometimes screws under the little rubber feet too.
