Need a new laser for my dvp5980, tried to clean it with a cleaning disk and still will not read any disks.

Anyone know where I can get one ?

try giving philips a call there customer services info is

TV, Home entertainment, Landline phones
0800 331 6015 (Toll Free)
Monday - Friday: 08:30 am - 8:00 pm
Saturday: 9:00 am - 6:00 pm

might be worth a try

had a google on it and theres not a lot of info on this

Done that already mate

Their reply was "we will not sell parts to customers, only authorised service outlets" so basiclly sod off and buy a new one.



Just opened it up, turns out its a sony laser.... KHM 313 AAM is whats on the laser with this under it.. will put it how it is in full;
