What has happened to DynDns.Org?

Does anyone have a DynDns.org account?

I cannot access my DynDns account at all, if I try to access www.dyndns.org i get redirected to www.dyndns.com, then when i enter my details it doesnt recognise me.

I'm missing out on a load of porn, please help

Hi Witchy, I have one of these accounts - I can log in from the .com site with no problems.

I sorted it mate.

I had ignored a few emails from them and paid the price - it seems that my box wasn't updating my IP and my account was closed, lol

If you compare your computer IP as similar to a phone number, what happens when you have various / changing numbers? Its like how does someone know what number to call to get hold of you? You could be at work or home, or mobile, in hospital, abroad etc.
Dyndns service is like having a secretary with a switchboard that always knows where you are, so people can dial 1 number and always be put through to you, whatever number you are on.

So in this case Witchy needs people to know where his pc is located on the net (ip address) but his number changes. So he has a 'dynamic address service' (one name) that he always lets know where his pc is located, so others (cardshare) can always find him.
