which one is the nand chip? - There's a chip with Lonrisun on it but after peeling back the sticker there's nothing written on that chip?

That is the nand flash mate, thats not helpful of them is it.

Do you have an option for the k9f1g08u0c nand in BB3 ? If so try it mate.

At work at the mo and im at football tonight but ill see what i can dig up tomorrow.

I saw on another forum that it could be the 'toshiba TC58NVG0S3ETA00' but I tried that and that time I get Maker ID returned from the flash: D1 does not match'

like you i'm busy tonight so will give this another bash tomorrow.. may just try every option in BBS

Did you get anywhere identifying the chip used mate ?

no luck at the moment mate yet to try most of the options in the software.

Can the flash be replaced if worst comes to the worst?

Yes it can but its tricky if you never done anything like it before.

Could you not speak to your supplier and ask what the flash chip is ? He may be able to contact the factory.
