Virgin have laid cable in my area and I was thinking of signing up to one of the deals. It’s M100 and phone line for £25 a month for twelve months then £49 a month. What is it like trying to negotiate a new contract with them after the introductory offer has ended. What am I likely to be paying after the 12 months is up.

Not done this for a few years, but you can usually get a better offer not always that good, so just move on........
Things might change and I hope they do, seen that ad on tv......regarding existing/new customers.....They currently offer better deals to NEW CUSTOMERS.......ffs.

I could not get a good deal out of them so I left

Sign up in one name for 12 months then 4 weeks before it's due to end ring them and give notice. They give you the 28 day notice and you might get the obligatory cardboard box to send all the gear back but dont panic.
7-14 days later retention will ring and negotiate a better deal.
Try get a negotiate a better deal there and then as they can only offer you what's on the table on that day.

The next day might be better might be worse it's the gamble you take If you dont get a good deal just cancel then when it's gone off get your missus to sign up on a new deal.

I got mine knocked down from £70 to £35 and a months free. I did drop from 150mb to 100mb but I don't need super fast porn :)

You dont have to but i do.
I run a VPN for my IPTV so all my streaming apps go throught it.
I got a good deal from them this year, when i got a letter saying it was going up from £42 a month to £45 (this was the 2nd increase within a year) i phoned them up and told them to come and remove there equipment. Within 5 minutes he had reduced my bill to £36 a month with £30 credit on my account, so my next bill after that was only £6 🙂

I'm also paying £36.00 for 200mb connection. My download speed tested on my nvidia via ethernet cable is 220mb down and 20mb up. oh and i split the cable and feed by solo 4k with cable tuner. :p
