very newbie seeks tutor for private lessons:)

ive just bought a 360 and was wondering if any of you chaps could reccomend advice on the next steps i should take.

im looking to install a hard drive what makes and models etc do i go for any gb limit etc?

i was also looking into buying a router rather than setting up via ics. any advice on how to do this cheaply?

i am using nthell for my internet at moment. so was wondering if i have to get a certain type router im new to all this.

do i have to buy subs from msoft to use online stuff?

as you will see im new to this stuff so any help would be appreciated.

At the moment the only hard drive you can use is the official microsoft 20gb one. You didnt say if the wanted to use a wireless configuration or not. The cheapest option would probably be a normal dsl router which you should be able to pick up quite cheaply and connect using normal patch cables.
You get a month free xbox live gold membership but after that you have to subscribe to play games online, not sure of the prices but it tells you when you go online. Hope that clears things up a bit for you

And Yes X-Box Live works fine on NTL.
