new update 06/11/2012 via remote,
hopefully sort out a few issues?

Just watched SS2 on an A780 for 30 mins. Not a single glitch.

780 only,and as usual a factory reset/rescan from direct feed

no glitching that sounds good.

I lost all my channels today : did a retune, and noticed as it did its' tuning thing a message showed "new frequency found" (or something similar..).

All working fine and can confim ---- NO glitching !!

I have been trying to update a box, when trying to do an online update box stays on "searching new update" screen.

latest binfile i can find is 29/11/2011, anyone find anything newer?

i ened up flashing the box with 12/04/2012,

did a factory reset/rescan etc and seemed to be working fine..

just gave him it back..

the new update by reports posted have said boxes were working better with the new update on,its not a critical one so can be done in a week or 2 if possible.sometimes by powering off at rear then on coaxial removed and s/w update it will update ,if not try latter.

Hi m8 you wouldnt have a copy of 12/04/2012 image to flash , ive a few with older firmware that wont update

I presume that he was an older image and this is possibly why it did not update. Ask him to try an update now he is on 12/04/12. To be honest, I did not do a factory reset/recan on my one.

i did m8
i flashed several dates and attempted to update,
each time it wouldn't connect but the box was working perfectly on the 12/04/2012 firmware, so i just gave it back and told him to keep trying the update.

his box went off this morning, i have seen a few posts dotted around that they have went off, so i think it may be a kv fault..

if its still off tomoz i will go have a look..

its not a local breakdown round here and the FTA channels are working...

says it still not working this morning...

need to go have a look at it...

maybe changing net id,does he have a vm box to get correct net id info off?
