update puzzling me can u shed lite

hello=ok this week i have done my mums sammy and a mates 1000 and both ov them have updated to the new guide ect now i have a 2000 and i still have a shitty old style is there owt i can do-i have tried a forced update(hold standby fave ect) any ideas anyone

i have the same problem but don't have a wire running from the battery. I had a couple of problems with this set but with help from TWOBEERCANS I now have all channels but a shitty menu/guide. It is still on CR1. I have done the 4321. Is there anything else that could stop it updating? My area isn't vod yet. By the way I am in a Langley area.

i think you'll need to get an update from a cw feed, to cr3 then update on your ntl feed to get the channels.
