Phone Unlocking unlock 6280

Hi all was wondering if someone could help me unlock the wifes old phone for the kids to use. I have a nokia 6280 type 78 it says inside. I have used the worl unlock codes before but my version(v,4,0) doesnt have this phone in the list was wondering if anyone could let me know the code to unlock it and it was on the three network and i need to get it on Orange.

There is no cheap way to get the codes from a 3rd party. Phone Orange and ask the for the unlocking code. If you have tried to enter more than three lots of codes into the phone then it wil need hard unlocking...This will cost <>£30

My 6280 was locked on t mobile , it cost me £15.00 quid from t mobile themselves to get the unlock code £30.00 quid sounds very steep to me

yeh most providers charge around £15. i know tmob charge that for defo. sometimes u have to wait depending on how long u have had the contract or prepay fone with them. they normally post it within a few days
