tsmedia not updating

I have tsmedia 4.9 on vu duo and tried to do latest update (7.9)
It goes thru motions but also gives a few 404 errors and does not change after reboot
Any ideas? Do I have to uninstall before updating?

It will not update from such a low version over the net.

You need to reinstall the latest version manually.

I am looking for the ipk file to update manually
I googled it and was directed to this forum but when I tried to download I saw I hadn't any posts and was blocked
So I started browsing the forum.
BTW I have a proxy setup for primewire it works but doesnt show any movies on 1channel ?same problem

Sounds like that proxy is now blaocked.

I sset it up myself at nokly.com
if I go thru nokly and click the website I get primewire website

Well id update to the latest version and see where you are with the proxie then mate.

In tsmedia, select 1channel, bottom is green button for settings?

press that then select 'proxy2' for your proxy and restart.

You have added the proxy in the proxy list in /etc/tsmedia aye?

but now ive just deleted tsmedia 4.9 and run the tsmedia 7.91 ipk file manually and its giving me not found errors? its using wget to dl from world of satellite website for some reason. now irts gone after reboot.
I thought the prog was in the ipk file (enigma2-plugin-extensions-tsmedia-oe2.0_7.91_full_all.ipk)

So this is on a VIX image chances are its an old image and online updates and dependencies need are no longer available for download.

I havent looked at the image or updated for about 9 months
Think ill reinstall and do a bit of a refurb, and try again

So last update
installed Apollo vix image and then tsmedia, everything went ok
I rebooted and the image just hung on boot screen - it just stopped booting.
So I reinstalled image from ssame usb file installed tsmedia and set it up
Now everything running smoothly .https://www.digitalworldz.co.uk/images/icons/icon7.gif
