took up a new hobby - its like marmite !!

as i haven't got much to do any more due to the lack of vm modem and tv box studies

i took up a new hobby.

explained my entrance into this new hobby and the expenditure of £300+ just to start out with some decent kit, to some mates.

heres the different responses
mate 1 - burly tough carpenter who sometimes does door work with me..... damn - i`ve always wanted one of them but could never justify it to the missus
mate 2 - skinny doorman on same jobs.... i`d rather you have said your gay as i could've accepted it more... your now a nerd...

so you either love it or hate it !!!
anyone guess the hobby, the only clues i offer is its an outdoor hobby, any weather and nothing sexual lol

nara was spot on,

metal detecting it is (middle age crisis ??)
and the way i`m going - i`ll be able to weigh in the scrap i`m finding cos haven`t found anything good yet.
but its new to me so it`ll get better

already trained the 6 year old to carry the spade
gets him out in the fresh air though so cant be too bad
