The DM8000 is 900 squid and for that money it would need to be able to suck me off to even contemplate it!

At £400 the vu+ duo is much better value for money and solid as a rock. Still has some bugs but they are being ironed out all the time. Regular software updates and very good support about for it.

with the latest firmware there is now support for Usb tuners

In all honesty, I'll be playing with this TM800 until the firmware has matured then I'll be flogging it on and grabbing a VU+ Duo from EuroSky.

As much as I like the box, my heart was already set on a Duo.
