Rickie, I have a usb drive permantly connected to mine, Its really hit and miss one recording ok the next 2 not. Tried many different ones all the same results. And before Dr Linux comes on here and says do it this way please please dont.

lol, Ok thats intresting .... who else has an internal sata? and whats your experiences?

Recorded another film today not using timers or anything, standard def just try to play it back cogs of death etc etc...........
