it states on raspberry pi faq that it wont be down to 10,000 units now as it will be built on demand so no waiting around once these start shipping and it also states the first lot will be just the board but by the summer these will ship with a case

Just be aware that it needs to have the instruction set for the ARMv6 CPU - you can't throw a distro for x86 CPUs on there.

In theory, you should be able to 'rip' an ISO from the SD flash Fedora Remix - but I won't know for sure until I have a pi AND a Fedora system to try the Remix tools out on...
