technomate satellite receiver 5402 M3 patching

Hi Folks
Been away from satellite new software and things for a little while, can anybody help, as to loading a patch on Technomate 5402 M3, can I just do it as an upload off a memory stick, or does it need a loader and all as per the "How to load a Patch write up"?

Just use usb stick
Also make sure doing things correct,
You Upload patch to usb
You Download patch to stb.
You don't upload patch to stb.

For 7 day epg on 28e
Make sure this transponder is in your list
11777 V 27500 if not add it in - Installation- ADVANCED SEARCH -satellite 28e - Press green button to add tp- enter 11777 V 27500 - exit and save
Then
Do this in tv mode
Menu
Edit channels
Add channels
Select 11777 V 27500

Name channel EPG
Channel type tv
Video pid 3177
Audio pid 3176
Pcr pid 3177
Leave video and audio type as they are
Save
Exit
Reboot
Go to epg channel
Press epg and wait for update
Press yellow button to see other days update
Exit then press epg
Takes upto 2 mins to populate, if box is rebooted it will lose epg data and need to repeat process.
