Technicolor router - Technomate 6900 super

Hi guys
I got a new router had to give up on the old 1, it's a technicolor seems very good for everything except what I want it for,
I added my Technomate 6900 super in the home network settings, the router sees it's ip address but beside it there is a box saying log in but nowhere to click,
there is also a box for edit and a box for unassign does anyone know how to get the 6900 to log on, I have added the port I want to use,
all seems fine but can't get it to connect,
I have reset the router and turned off and on the 6900
Any help would be greatly appreciated
