Stuck in safe mode

Hi there

Have an elonex etouch stuck in safe mode. Have stride resetting factory settings, deleting apps, power + volume buttons .....all to no avail

Anyone know how to get out it?

Sounds like you might need to flash the ROM.

Its the 700et. I tried following the instructions here 702ET eTouch Firmware Update but I can't get the the tablet to show the penguin - any ideas why this might be the case. I am definitely holding the + and - buttons with the power. The tablet starts up but then just powers down again same as what would typically happen if you held the power button in on any tablet, computer etc.

Is there an alternative way of flashing a new rom on this device + I cannot see anything anywhere about flashing > Android 2.3.3. I was hoping to get ice cream sandwich on it. Is this possible? Thanks for your help

I take it you have tried the little reset hole next to the volume keys ?
