starview 1 probs

a mate gave me a genuine starview 1 box to fix. all it needed was the new fix. i got the correct file from the cc toolbar and downloaded it to the box using gtrom v4. the display on the box counts up as normal. the problem is all i get is the fta channels. i made sure the emu was on. i done a service scan. i've never had this problem before.anyone got any ideas.

Make sure the file was installed by checking the menu,if it was try a reflash

got it fixed, i read on another forum that there is a function in the menu where you switch on the emu called 'set default key'. once i pressed this all my channels started working. show me the money.
