A mix of snow and sleet up here in Newcastle. It's not really sticking though

Bit snow around me, Northeast, just heard a1 north bound in our area is closed for snow, looking really dark outside at the mo. They reckon the big fall will be tonight and then it will be over with

totaly agree m8 , must have been the seventies last time i saw snow that you had to dig a channel through to get to the shop, these days you get a couple of inches one day, and its gone the next

whats annoying is both bbc and itv weather forecast the worst snow over southern parts of britain, upto last nights weather forcast, we were told london, mid england and the east/south wales was getting heavy snow yet theres been nothing for the south, just the north

It snowed in North Manchester this morning, proberly only as far down as Moston..

Chadderton being on the foothill of the peninnes had a little snow.. at 8am this morning... Nothing like the 16" the Irish had to endure when building the M62 ... them days are gone
