Sky +HD Box hard drive

Is there any way to tell the size of a sky+ hd box hard drive ... with out having to take the top off...please

I just took the lid of a amstrad dx890 and inside was a seagate 500gb hdpipeline 2 inside. I have used in my vu+ ultimo and working well so hopefully you have one of them or if you have the new type of sky hd box it should be a 1tb hdd

Amstrad drx590 = 500gb
all others will have 320gb and can be identified by having 2 scart sockets on the back.

Just got my hand's on a sky hd + box, it's a DRX890-Z one scart

The card still in it just trying to work how open the thing.

Is the card any good?

Open the single screw holding plastic chassis. Prize 3 clips of plastic chassis slightly and then push plastic forward. 2 screws hold buttons. 3 screws on side for metal cover.

I got the the lid off, fooking thing had cockroaches in it, anyway it's got a Seagate 500gb, just gonna put it in a caddy now.
